Three’s Theatre Company is a young, dynamic company which creates ‘choice theatre’ putting you, the audience, at the heart of everything we do.

Every production we put on will give you a choice. Sometimes the choice will mean picking an item – a dinosaur or an ice-cream (101001) and that choice will lead you down a particular path; sometimes you choose a menu (Date Show) or sometimes the choice is about what you listen to (Thinking about Thoughts); or where you stand, or when you join a dance ..... (Now for the North; Date Show)

Three’s Theatre Company was officially launched in July 2017. It was founded by Artistic Director Anna Leckey, following the success of her first professional show ‘Thinking about Thoughts’. This had been funded by Lisburn City Council, and proved that this type of theatre had potential. It made Anna determined to provide Belfast and Northern Ireland as a whole with a platform to showcase local talent and give audiences a chance to participate in something unique.

Since then Anna has produced shows on a variety of topics and in a range of locations . Many have been site specific and many have been in places where theatre is unexpected and new. Each show is based on the true stories of the people represented, and each show is researched , developed and performed by young, local and often new talent.

The productions are the result of a team of beautiful collaborators; from writers to actors, directors, movers and dancers. All share the company’s passion for truth, compassion and the chance to change the world through creativity and artistic belief.
