OUR CReative pool
Submissions are closed at the minute, we are hoping to reopen it later in 2023.
At Three’s Theatre Company we have always tried to bring new faces and voices into each production. By meeting new people each time we build a new show, we learn more about ourselves, our process and ultimately we create something new.
We don’t hold typical “auditions” we think the process has its flaws and can create more anxiety in an already stressful industry. But we also never want to become a ‘closed shop’ so we are trying our best to develop a better process, because you as artists deserve better.
Once or twice a year we will open our Creative Pool for submissions. Being part of the Creative Pool does not guarantee that you will work with us, but it allows us to have a pool of individuals that we can audition from when roles and opportunities do become available.
We work a little differently
A lot of our work is multi journey, site specific, promenade and is much more collaborative than hierarchal.
So we want to work with people who:
Have a keen interest in new writing and are comfortable engaging with working drafts.
Can confidently bring new ideas to the table, as this is key to collaboration.
Who don’t mind a challenge and can work under pressure. (When are we not working under pressure, right?)
Are (most importantly) kind. The process can of course at times be challenging, that’s why we love it so much - so kindness is key to keeping us all working towards the same goal.

We want to expand our pool of creatives that we work with so to ensure that we do, we will be having zoom days where we get to meet you. (Yay!)
If we sound like the type of company you want to work with then this is what to do.
Email us a short video about 2 minutes long on you - who you are, what you do and maybe try to answer one or more of the questions below. No need for a cover letter etc - we are pretty chilled and just want to get to know you a little.
Our core team will digest the video and get in touch when we are having a ‘zoom day.’
This is when will have short 15 minute conversations with those who got in touch that we think might be a good match for us. We intend on running these days quarterly.
After meeting with you we endeavour to be in touch as soon as possible to let you know if we believe that working together would be a good thing, and if not we have a commitment to explaining why we feel this way.
